so game that out for me if he decides to go with her. >> and bob corker, too. these are people that are normally not ones that are usually will play games with confirmation politics. you know, you could just sort of see how this would go, right? first of all, it would fall on the foreign relations committee and john kerry to get it through committee. it would probably get through on a party line vote. obviously, then they'd have to go and find five senators. i don't know if there would be a -- i think you would get senators that would agree not in a filibuster, but then not vote for her. so i do think the confirmation itself and the politics of that, while not extraordinarily easy, is it going to be a heavy, heavy lift, but it just is added to the pain and maybe they delay the confirmation process till after the holidays so that we don't even start it now. and maybe that break will help when there's a new senate and all of that. but look, i think you're going to see a lot of party-linas spekt party-line aspects to this. >> there's another way to go about this.
